Amazing static images that look like they are moving! Your eyes will deceive you...
Akiyoshi Kitaoko is Professor of Psychology at Ritsumeikan University, Osaka, Japan, where he has studied visual perception, visual illusion, optical illusion, trompe l'oeil (trick of the eye) and 3D design since 2002.
One of his main interests is static images that make you think they are moving.
Some people can not see the movement in the images, but most people can. If you suffer from motion sickness, maybe don't look at them for too long and in working on this page our editor has started to feel a bit queasy! (Yes really. Ed.)
